Welsh Curry House of the Year

Established by the Festivals Company in 2007, the Welsh Curry House of the Year competition engages with over 280 restaurants and over 12, 000 members of the general public to celebrate and promote a love of curry and the economic and cultural contribution curry houses make to Wales.

The winner of the 2013 competition was the Bengal Spices from Llanymynech. The announcement was made by Chef Anand George from the Purple Poppadom at a glittering Awards Show at The Coal Exchange, Cardiff Bay on Monday 22 April 2013.
