Grant Vidgen

Grant is a graduate of the College of Librarianship Wales where he read chemistry and librarianship before undertaking research for an MPhil on the design and implementation of information systems in the National Health Service. He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.

Over twenty years of professional experience have seen Grant teaching systems analysis and design, managing corporate web sites and supervising the production of hours of television and radio - including a feature length drama with Bill Nighy and Sandra Dickinson. Immediately prior to joining the Festivals Company in 2008 Grant was working as an IT consultant for Capita's social housing software development unit.
 
With The Festivals Company, Grant tries to maintain order in the office and ensure that the rest of the team have the resources they need to be successful.  Recent film production credits as Producer include the Iris Prize winners’ shorts Boys Village by Till Kleinert and Little Man by Eldar Rapaport. 
 
Grant is a graduate of the Cardiff Matrix programme of Common Purpose, the leadership development programme and between 2003-2008 served as a governor of a local primary school. He is currently a trustee of Cardiff Wales LGBT Mardi Gras.
